The hunt for an attacking winger in Leeds United’s forward line continues as options are being explored.
It’s set to be an intriguing last month of the transfer window if you are a Leeds fan, as the 49ers are far from done with their business.
After Lucas Perri’s arrival, there seems to be a bit of a lull in the market, but the Whites are seemingly working progressively behind the scenes.
A winger and a striker seem to be the next direction for Daniel Farke and co, as Dilane Bakwa could be that option.
Nottingham Forest bid £26m for Bakwa, and although rejected, their Premier League rivals will no doubt go back in for the 22-year-old, which leaves one obvious solution.

Nottingham Forest’s bid for Dilane Bakwa could hand Jota Silva to Leeds United
Despite Bakwa looking to be ‘really exciting’, Leeds should put their focus elsewhere, with Forest leading the charge.
The desire of European football is what the Tricky Trees can offer, but will need to sell, which makes it easier for the Whites to land a different target in Jota Silva.
A deal of £13 million for Silva would get a deal done, and he showed signs last season that he can perform as a starting attacker in the Premier League.

The 26-year-old was a reliable option off the bench for Forest, but he could be so much more at Elland Road.
Adding his early Premier League experience to Farke’s squad will already be a boost, but there is quality off the pitch that would make him a unique choice for the Peacocks.
Jota Silva has an incredible mindset that Leeds United need
Although reports suggest that Silva is set for Sporting, the Whites have the Premier League charm that the winger could be after.
The Portuguese star isn’t the most extravagant in terms of goal involvement, but his tools could prove vital in a relegation battle.
Within his assets, it’s the 26-year-old’s mindset that stands out, and his desire to reach the top is clear to see after speaking to The Guardian in 2024.
“I want to reach the top of world football,” Silva said.
“I want to play in the Champions League, and my dream is to reach the national team. That’s why I’m working.”
This belief is what Leeds must find in the top flight next season, but along with his attitude is his excellent work ethic when he plays, fighting for every ball to succeed.
He’s been compared similarly to Jack Grealish, proving his mindset isn’t the finished article when it comes to the winger.
After only five starts last season across 31 games, three goals is good going, so imagine what could happen if the Whites gift him a starting status.
