United Hold Out for £50m—but Could Budge
Manchester United, fresh from sealing a £73.7m deal for Benjamin Sesko, are holding firm. They want £50 million in cash, using Chelsea’s Noni Madueke deal as the benchmark. United have rejected all swap deals and staggered payments.
However, some reports claim United may lower their demands as the window progresses. A fee between £30–£40 million could be enough if Chelsea apply pressure. For now, the Blues may need to offload players, with Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell among those the club could sell to raise funds.
Chelsea continue to prioritise Garnacho as their top attacking target. If they match—or negotiate—the price, they could seal the deal soon.
