West Ham United are eyeing a move to sign Atletico Madrid striker Alexander Sorloth to bolster their forward line, according to Fichajes.net
The Hammers have had an interesting summer transfer window so far as Graham Potter looks to put his stamp on the squad following a disappointing Premier League season in which they finished 14th in 2024/25.
El Hadji Malick Diouf, Kyle Walker-Peters and Callum Wilson have arrived to bulk up the first-team following a number of departures, including forwards Danny Ings, Michail Antonio and Mohammed Kudus, but the club are looking at another potential option.

Alexander Sorloth celebrating for Atletico Madrid
Sorloth, who has been described as a 'powerhouse who terrorises defences', had a fantastic debut season with Atletico Madrid last time around and netted 20 La Liga goals alongside four goals in the Copa Del Rey.
However, most of his goals came from the substitutes bench as he found himself behind Julian Alvarez and Antoine Griezmann in pecking order, and that has opened the door to a potential exit during the summer transfer window.
The Spanish outfit would not be against letting the Norwegian striker leave the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium should they receive an acceptable offer, and West Ham are among the clubs who have shown an interest in bringing him to the Premier League.
The 29-year-old striker is currently under contract with Atletico Madrid until 2028, but the Spanish side would be open to letting him leave for just €25m (£21.6m), and the Hammers could be tempted to make an offer.
There are question marks over the future of Lucas Paqueta too, but the club have moved to bolster their goalkeeping options too after agreeing a deal to sign Leicester City goalkeeper Mads Hermansen.
The Irons have agreed to pay £18m to the Foxes to sign the Dane instead of a deal for Brazilian John Victor, who they had also agreed a deal for, but have now decided to leave negotiations after bringing in their top target instead.
