He is capable of operating centrally as well as on the flanks. He is regarded as one of the finest young talents in English football. He was outstanding for his country in the under-21 Euros earlier this summer, and he helped them win the tournament.
There is no doubt that he has the quality to play for Tottenham, and he could be a future star for them. According to the report, Tottenham tried to sign the player in January, and they are now looking at him closely once again.

It will be interesting to see if they come forward with an offer to sign him. They need to replace Maddison this summer. He was one of their main sources of creativity, and they cannot hope to head into the new season without more depth in that area of the beach.
McAtee will be tempted to join a big club like Tottenham. If they can offer him regular gametime, he will be attracted to the idea of joining them. Regular football at the north London club could help him develop further and fulfil tremendous potential.
