Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson suffered a finger injury after being sacked by Baltimore Ravens linebacker David Ojabo in Thursday's preseason game.
Richardson is out for the game, the team announced. He was trying to grip the ball on the Colts sideline and seemed to have a finger issue, NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported.
Richardson was slow to get up after Ojabo's sack and went to the sideline with Daniel Jones, his competition for the QB1 spot taking over.
Richardson, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, completed two of three passes for 21 yards in Thursday's game.
Around The NFL will have more shortly.
