PHILADELPHIA (KAIT) - A FFN great found the end zone in his first NFL game.
ShunDerrick Powell had a 2 yard rushing touchdown in the 4th quarter Thursday in the Eagles preseason opener. He had 6 carries for 32 yards as Philadelphia beat the Bengals 34-27.
Powell’s first touch of the game was a 19 yard carry in the 3rd quarter.
Powell signed with the Eagles as a undrafted free agent, #39 is building a resume for a spot on the Philadelphia 53-man roster.
Powell is in the record books at Hoxie, North Alabama, and UCA. He rushed for over 4,000 yards in his collegiate career with 42 total touchdowns. Powell had eight 100-yard performances for UCA in 2024. He was a two-time FCS All-American.
