Gabriel Agbonlahor has shared a very interesting story about Chelsea legend Eden Hazard as he discussed the greatest left wingers in Premier League history.
Son Heung-min, whose best position is on the left, has just left Chelsea‘s London rivals Tottenham Hotspur after a successful 10-year spell at the club.
It has sparked the discussion about who is the best left winger of the Premier League era, with that having also been Hazard‘s preferred role during his time at Chelsea.
Agbonlahor has also discussed Raheem Sterling, warning the Blues that another loan move may be the only way to get rid of him this summer. The 30-year-old spent last season on loan at another one of Chelsea’s London rivals, Arsenal.

Agbonlahor came up against Hazard as an Aston Villa player, and the former striker has revealed a conversation that he once had with the Belgian.
During it, Hazard explained the way he likes to play football, telling Agbonlahor that he just wants to have fun and take on other players.
“This player, I had the privilege of playing against him,” the retired England international said on talkSPORT. “He once said to me on the pitch, ‘Gabby, just have fun. I just want to have the ball and have fun.’ Eden Hazard.
“I remember playing against him and he spoke to me on the pitch, he was like, ‘I just want to have fun.’ I remember Christian Benteke saying to us at Aston Villa that he doesn’t care about scoring, he just wants to assist, wants to take players on, have fun and assist.”

Hazard had the skills and the tricks, but his game also had goals. The ex-Belgium international finished his Chelsea career with 110 goals to his name.
Chelsea signed Hazard from Lille for just £32m in 2012, but Agbonlahor thinks Hazard would cost £160m today.

“I think Eden Hazard deserves that number one spot,” the talkSPORT pundit said. “He was strong, wasn’t he? He had that Mo Salah strength where you couldn’t knock him off the ball.”

Gabriel Agbonlahor’s top five left wingers in Premier League history
Chelsea are likely to begin the new season with Jamie Gittens on the left, while Alejandro Garnacho could also be an option for them later down the line.
It has been reported that Chelsea have held conversations with Garnacho’s people over a possible move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Joao Pedro is another option, though he is expected to start up front after his exploits at the Club World Cup.
