After a good season with the Detroit Pistons, Beasley found himself in controversy.
Beasley is undergoing investigation for alleged betting, and no team offered him a contract as of this moment as the process is still ongoing.
Beasley is motivated to prove the teams wrong, claiming he has "a chip on his shoulder".
"People were saying some crazy things in the media, especially some wild s-t on Instagram. Have I made mistakes in my life? Yeah, I did, but I'm a human," Beasley starts on his Instagram story.
"Until something happens, I just have to stay positive. I'll tell you one thing, I have a chip on my shoulder. I'm ready to destroy anybody in front of me."
"I'm ready to prove again that I belong in this league. I work too hard, I put basketball over anything," Beasley concluded.
Last season, Beasley enjoyed a productive year in Detroit, averaging 16.1 points on 41.1% 3PT shot, and 2.6 rebounds.
He was set for a big contract in Detroit, but everything stalled after FBI started their investigation.
