Everton are now on the home straight ahead of their opening game of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
David Moyes faces one final pre-season game as Everton seek their first victory of the summer.
It will be an exciting one for all Everton fans on Saturday as the Toffees finally get to open the Hill Dickinson Stadium to a full capacity crowd.
The Friedkin Group have organised a game between the Blues and their other club, AS Roma.
Ahead of the game on Saturday, Everton will be unveiling their new third kit as fans prepare to flock to their new state-of-the-art home.
Everton fans have been impressed with their new kits, which were worn during their games over in the United States.
Ahead of the third kit launch, there has been some insight into the changes made behind the scenes by the Everton owners.

The home kit also has its own meaning behind it, with the club’s past and future both being strongly intertwined into Castore’s offering.
However, speaking to iNews, Castore’s CCO Danny Downs has admitted Everton’s owners stepped in to make some changes to the new third kit.
“We thought third [kit] was done but the new owners felt very passionately about a version of the design that we may not have gone with but they wanted to resurrect,” he said.

“It also gives us a nod to what the future design process will look like. Without being rude to the previous owners, they trusted [sports merchandising firm] Fanatics, but the new owners are going to be front and centre in the design process.”
The Friedkins have transformed Everton’s finances ahead of this summer’s transfer window, with PSR not as much of a concern anymore.
But to see them get their hands dirty when it comes to designing the kit is really interesting.
Other owners would hand off that assignment to someone else, but the Friedkins are showing a level of detailed interest that Everton fans have not seen in a long time.
Everton already preparing 150-year anniversary kit for 2028
Everton’s 150-year anniversary is quickly creeping up in 2028, and Castore are already turning their attention to plans for a special kit.
Downs has admitted the kits for the 2026/27 campaign are now almost completely signed off by the club, with focus already turning to the season after.
It will be more important than ever for Castore to get the kits right for the huge anniversary, and they’re well aware of their responsibility.
“It’s quite a lot of pressure and responsibility because they’ll only turn 150 once and they’re doing it before almost every team in world football,” he added.
“In a nice way that pressure weighs quite heavily on you.
“We’ve been having conversations about it for a while because without canvassing so many opinions, it becomes unwieldy – you do want to try and bring in as many opinions as we can about what it looks like.”
