Arsenal are likely to revive their interest in Ademola Lookman as they seek a cheaper alternative to Eberechi Eze, according to reports in Italy.
The Crystal Palace star could cost as much as £68m and TuttoJuve.com claim that the Gunners could now turn their attention back to Lookman.

Earlier in the transfer window, the African Footballer of the Year was mentioned as an option by trusted sources, including The Athletic.
TuttoJuve say that the Gunners could “relaunch” their attempt to sign the Nigerian, with manager Mikel Arteta said to be a big fan.
Lookman’s versatility is a key asset
It is believed that Arteta sees the 27-year-old as an “ideal candidate” to strengthen the forward line, as he is capable of playing multiple positions.
In addition to being deployed as a No.10, Lookman is also comfortable on both wings. With Arteta seeking another option on the left flank, the Atalanta star’s ability to play in that area makes him a very attractive target.
Arsenal can sign the player for much less than Eze
Another important factor is Lookman’s asking price. Atalanta are thought to be willing to sell him for around €50m (£44m) this summer.
The Nigerian international is the same age as Eze (27) but he actually produced more goal contributions than the Englishman last season (27 compared to 25)
For that reason, you can see why Lookman is being considered as a genuine alternative. With Inter Milan having failed to match the Atalanta star’s valuation, there is also a chance to swoop in and steal the player from under the noses of the Champions League finalists.
It is definitely a transfer story to keep an eye on, especially if negotiations with Palace for Eze don’t progress as hoped over the coming days and weeks.
