Chelsea have reportedly agreed every detail of personal terms with Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho.

According to Fabrizio Romano, this deal is edging closer as it’s now basically all done on the player’s side of things.

Chelsea still need to agree a fee with Man Utd, however, with BBC Sport reporting yesterday that the Red Devils had valued the Argentina international at as much as £60m earlier this summer.

It remains to be seen how much Garnacho will end up moving for, but it seems this is all heading in a positive direction, as per Romano’s latest post on X this morning…

Is Alejandro Garnacho really what Chelsea need?

One imagines this deal will divide Chelsea fans, as they already have plenty of similar attacking players who are probably a lot better.

And as Romano notes, it seems the Blues are also continuing to work on signing Xavi Simons, who is another superior attacking midfielder.

Garnacho has shown some potential during his time at United, but he’s also been inconsistent and there have been signs of a poor attitude.

Still, the Telegraph recently reported that CFC had done some checks on the player, so they’re seemingly happy to trust him.
