Leeds United have only seen two players leave on transfers this summer. And yet, there have been a lot of players linked with a move away.
Daniel Farke made it clear with his actions that if you did not make the training camp in Germany, you would not make his plans for the upcoming season. So almost every player that went on the trip can consider themselves part of the squad for next season. A bunch of players remained in the UK and are currently training and playing friendlies with the U21s this summer.

Patrick Bamford, Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood are among the names involved. All three have been linked with moves away, but it is possible that they will move near the end of the month. The only player with concrete links to an exit is Gelhardt, who is set to seal a loan deal to Hull City this week.

Mateo Joseph spotted in Spain ahead of Leeds United exit

After a long drawn out saga with the club, it looks like Mateo Joseph will finally get his move. The way he went about it is not ideal, with Daniel Farke having a bit of a problem with it.
Joseph said he only wanted to play in Spain. Real Betis and Girona were part of the early suitors for the forward, however, Leeds stepped in and sorted a move to Mallorca this week. The 21-year old was spotted at the airport late on Thursday night.

It is believed the move to Mallorca is a straight season-long loan with no purchase option.
Joseph gets his move, but there will be future implications
In the end, Mateo Joseph got his move, and will be playing first team football if things go his way. However, the manner in which he went about a transfer this summer was not the best. Daniel Farke showed his frustration when speaking about the matter.
Joseph’s behaviour and attitude have rubbed the fans the wrong way, and you would imagine he has lost a lot of goodwill.
Leeds only sanctioned the move because they feel the Spaniard is a valuable asset for the future. Hopefully this temporary move does a lot for his career.
