“Make Sure Y’all Tap”: Maxwell Hairston Relives Kentucky Glory While Hyping Netflix’s SEC…

Maxwell Hairston, cornerback for the Buffalo Bills, recently promoted Netflix’s ‘SEC Football: Any Given Saturday’, the documentary starring him and many other college football stars. Hairston, who definitely had a legacy in the SEC during his NCAA days, seemed pretty excited to see himself on the screen.

Hairston played for the Kentucky Wildcats for the entirety of his college football career, and managed a total of 15 solo tackles during his senior year with the team. This amazing performance immediately made Hairston a first-round pick in the 2024 NFL draft, with the Bills snagging him as the 30th pick.

“Make sure yall tap into the SEC series on Netflix” Maxwell Hairston captioned his Instagram post, with a screen-grab of himself in the docu-series.

“Gotta rock the brand in every interview @them_ones1” Hairston added.

Maxwell Hairston will be eager to make his debut for the Buffalo Bills this regular season on the right note. Not only Hairston, but the entire Bills roster will be hoping to bring about a stronger performance when compared to their record in the previous season.

Kentucky Wildcats cornerback Maxwell Hairston poses with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell after being selected by the Baltimore Ravens as the 30th pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft at Lambeau Field.

Perhaps the most anticipated matchup will be of the Bills taking on the Chiefs in Week 8. The Bills were embarrassingly defeated by the Chiefs in the 2024 NFL campaign during the AFC Championships and fans have never been able to fully get over the loss. In fact, Buffalo Bills’ starting quarterback Josh Allen has never been able to score a win against Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs. Hopefully, the upcoming season will tell a different tale.

Maxwell Hairston’s Training Camp Injury Covered In ‘Hard Knocks’

Meanwhile, Maxwell Hairston may not be seen having much action in the upcoming NFL regular season, after the young cornerback injured his knee during training camp. The behind-the-scenes story of the injury was extensively covered in HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’ featuring the Buffalo Bills this year.

While initial suspicions were an ACL tear, later diagnoses were less dangerous, with reports coming in that Hairston had suffered an LCL sprain. The sprain also means that the cornerback will not be played in back-to-back games in the upcoming season.

In the ‘Hard Knock’ series, which showed Hairston’s injury, it was inspiring to see how much the players genuinely care about each other. In fact, cornerback Christian Benford can be seen praying on the field for the healing and recovery of Hairston. Benford has been with the Bills since the 2022 season and is one of their most trusted cornerbacks.
