Jimmie Ward, safety for the Houston Texans, has landed in legal trouble, yet again. Ward was recently arrested after he tested positive for alcohol, which is in violation of the terms of his previous offense’s release. Ward was arrested last month for trying to strangulate a family member at Magnolia, Texas. According to the previous release, Ward is not allowed to drink alcohol, and as per his lawyer, the NFL safety, did not know this.

Ward has been playing with the Houston Texans since the 2023 NFL season. After his legal issues back-to-back, it is still not understood if the Texans will be eager to continue with Ward in their upcoming season. The team is yet to release an official statement regarding the player.
In the 2024 NFL season, Jimmie Ward managed a total of 32 solo tackles with the team, along with a pair of interceptions. While he is definitely a talented player with the Texans, with these scandals surrounding the safety, the Houston management might not be ready to move ahead with him in their roster.

Jimmie Ward and the Houston Texans will be hoping to do better in the upcoming NFL season when compared to the previous year. In the 2024 campaign, the Texans only managed to make it to the divisional round to lose to the Chiefs. This time out, the team will be desperate to crack a better record in the 2025 campaign.
Jimmie Ward Was Arrested Earlier For Domestic Violence
Jimmie Ward’s earlier arrest also did not bring out an official statement from the Houston Texans, which was heavily condemned by fans. In his first arrest back in June, Ward was caught because of a complaint by a woman in his home who accused him of trying to strangle her. However, Ward’s lawyer completely denied the allegations.
“We have known about this woman for a while and about her behavior towards Jimmie Ward and even another well-known athlete. It’s unfortunate that public figures have to go through things like this. We are looking into her history and believe that Jimmy will be cleared.”Jimmie Ward’s lawyer, Steve Jackson, spoke to People magazine after his first arrest.

Steve Jackson also spoke to reporters after Jimmie Ward was arrested for the second time a few hours back. In his conversation, Jackson remarked that Ward simply was not aware that he could not consume alcohol after his first offense.
