Leeds United are hoping to add to their forward line in the coming weeks as Daniel Farke insist on the importance of having a Premier League-ready squad by the end of the window on September 1st. However, the club are also making movements on certain outgoings.
Despite the need for attacking players, the Leeds manager has not compromised with squad discipline and the need for players who are committed to the cause. The German has made some tough decisions on certain players, and is not prepared to go back on them despite the struggles in the window.

Mateo Joseph’s decision to try and force his way out of Leeds and not turning up for pre-season training this summer has not won him any friends. The Whites boss has no plans to take him back, and his future is set to be sorted out in the coming days.
After rejecting loan offers with options to buy from Real Betis, Leeds accepted a straightforward loan bid from Mallorca, and the striker has reached Spain to complete the move.

Mateo Joseph reveals the truth behind his impending Leeds United exit
Joseph is set to get his wish of returning to Spain, but Leeds have also not compromised on their goal of having control over his future next season.
Real Betis were the first club to make a move for him, and there were suggestions that on their instigation, the Spaniard slapped in the transfer request last month.
However, Joseph revealed that Mallorca were the first club to contact him earlier in the window, and he was always keen on joining them.
He admitted that he is yet to speak to Mallorca sporting director Pablo Ortells, but he is happy to be on the verge of joining the club in the ongoing transfer window.
“No, I haven’t spoken with Pablo Ortells yet, but it’s great. I’ve heard wonders about the island”, Joseph told reporters after landing in Spain.
“Yes, yes, all my life I’ve wanted this. It’s the first club that contacted me. I’m happy.”
Leeds stood their ground and are getting what they wanted
Despite Joseph’s conduct this season, the forward is still rated at Leeds and has supporters inside the club hierarchy.
Even Farke is an admirer of the striker, but his unprofessionalism this summer left him with no choice but to throw him out of his plans for next season.
However, Leeds believe that a solid loan spell in Spain will only increase his value, and he could be reintegrated next year or sold for a bigger fee.
The Whites wanted that control over his future, and so, a straightforward loan away from Elland Road was always going to their preferred choice.
