Manchester United have been informed of how much it may cost to sign Brighton star Carlos Baleba.

News emerged on Thursday that Baleba has become a player of interest to United this summer as the transfer window rolls on. Baleba has been tentatively linked with a move away from the Seagulls for some time, with the latest update being the first time a potential move may actually be on the cards.

United have already signed Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo this summer and are also close to completing the signing of Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig. It remains to be seen if Baleba will move to Old Trafford, with United now being told how much a transfer may cost them.

ESPN have reported that Brighton will demand €120million (£104million) for Baleba this summer. United will reportedly also face competition from Manchester City for Baleba's signature this summer.

However, despite United having an interest in Baleba, it has been claimed that a move may be tough to complete financially once a deal for Sesko is over the line.

There has also been speculation that United may look to include Toby Collyer in a potential swap deal for Baleba. However, the Manchester Evening News understands that this is not the case and that Collyer is not being considered in talks of a potential deal.
