Ryan Gravenberch has responded after his partner issued an update on her pregnancy. The Liverpool midfielder was a crucial part of Liverpool’s title-winning team last season after being deployed in a defensive midfield position by head coach and fellow Dutchman Arne Slot.

Gravenberch is part of pre-season training with the Reds at the moment and will likely feature in their final warm-up game against Crystal Palace in the Community Shield this Sunday. He will be suspended for Liverpool’s first Premier League game on August 15 against Brentford after picking up a red card against Palace in the final game of the season.

Away from the pitch, he is in a relationship with Cindy Peroti. Cindy regularly shares her support for the Reds on Instagram. She has shared several pictures this season of her watching Liverpool games from the stands.

Cindy is currently pregnant with the couple’s first child which was announced back in May. Last week, she shared snaps from her 23rd birthday holding a massive pink and cream cake.

In the caption, Cindy said: “My 23rd birthday, last birthday before I’m the mum of my little princess.”

Gravenberch responded by leaving a comment with a love heart emoji. Saffie Khan, a Scouse model who is the partner of Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, said: “Happy birthday beautiful.”

Tamira Blankinson, who is the partner of new right-back Jeremie Frimpong, said: “Aw happy birthday beautiful mum.”

Riiona McCreesh, who is dating fellow right-back Conor Bradley, added: “Happy birthday gorgeous girl!”

Cindy shared pictures from her baby shower as she revealed her child’s gender for the first time. Cindy was joined at the event by Gravenberch and their close friends and family, along with pink balloons, flowers and animal statues.

Gravenberch and Cindy announced the pregnancy shortly after Liverpool were confirmed as Premier League champions on Sunday, April 27, when Liverpool beat Tottenham Hotspur 5-1.

Gravenberch shared a picture of several polaroid pictures, which showed a baby scan, Cindy with a baby bump and Gravenberch holding up a baby Liverpool top.

In the caption, he said: “We have been keeping a secret, we can’t wait to meet you.”

Dominik Szoboszlai was flooded with messages of support earlier this week as he announced his wife has given birth to their first child. The midfielder married Borka Buzsik in a ceremony in March this year.

The Hungarian star shared a black and white photo of his hand holding his new baby daughter. In a joint announcement with Borka, the 24-year-old said: "Your birth means the world to me. Thank you, my love for bringing her into our life!"

Fellow Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister is also preparing to become a dad with his partner Ailen Cova.
