Manchester United could take their summer spending for the transfer window past the £200million mark with their next deal.

United have been busy in the transfer market so far this summer and it looks likely there will be more business conducted before the deadline on September 1. United have just three more weeks to complete their business for the summer and add to the three new signings that have already been made to Ruben Amorim's squad.

RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko looks set to become the fourth new signing at United this summer. United have fended off competition from Newcastle for the Slovenia international's signature after submitting a €75million (£65.3m) bid plus €10million (£8.7m) in add-ons earlier in the week.

A deal for Sesko could therefore reach £74million if all add-ons are met. That money could then go on to see United spend more than £200million this summer with the potential for more to come.

A deal for United to sign Diego Leon was confirmed earlier in the year with the defender arriving from Cerro Porteno. The deal will be worth a total of £7million with a £3.3million initial fee plus add-ons.

In terms of business finalised this summer, the first deal United got over the line was a move for Matheus Cunha from Wolves. United agreed to pay the £62.5million release clause in the Brazilian's contract, and will stagger the payments over five instalments.

The next signing saw United bring Bryan Mbeumo to Old Trafford. After weeks of speculation, United finally agreed a £71million deal which includes a £65million initial fee plus £6million more in add-ons.

In total, if all add-ons are met, United will have spent £140.5million on their three signings so far this summer. Add Sesko into the mix and that figure increases to £214.5million.
