Sources: Sancho stance on Man Utd exit emerges as Juventus move stalls

Jadon Sancho's Manchester United exit to Juventus has stalled despite the Italian side hoping for a breakthrough this week, GIVEMESPORT sources understand.

The Red Devils have been keen to move the winger out of Old Trafford since last summer after loaning him out to Premier League rivals Chelsea, only for the west London club to pay a £5m penalty clause to abandon their obligation to buy that was part of the deal.

The England international has since returned to Man Utd but was left out of the club's pre-season tour of the USA and has been told he is not part of Ruben Amorim's plans for the new season, and a move is expected to take place before the September 1st deadline.

Juventus Move for Sancho at a Standstill

Sancho, who currently earns £350,000-a-week at Man Utd, is someone who INEOS are desperate to move on before the deadline, and talks over a move to Juventus had been ongoing but have now hit a standstill.

The Serie A club had been hoping to make a breakthrough in talks this week ahead of their pre-season friendly with Borussia Dortmund, but they now face competition from the Bundesliga side for Sancho's signature.

A deal for Sancho has not progressed for a while, and Juventus now fear that Dortmund could step in to seal a deal to take the winger back to Signal Iduna Park for a third spell.

Juventus are hopeful of moving on Argentine winger Nico Gonzalez before the deadline at the end of the month, and GMS sources understand that by doing that it could spark their move for Sancho back into life once more.

Sancho Not Worried by Situation

Man Utd sidelined five players at the start of pre-season with the intention of moving them all on, but so far only Marcus Rashford has left the club - joining Barcelona on a season-long loan.

Sancho is part of that group and has been told he is not part of Amorim's plans for the new season, and if a move doesn't materialise then he will continue to be sidelined away from the squad. But Man Utd are now facing the prospect of having to step up their efforts to find Sancho a new club as they don't want that situation to come to life.

However, the 25-year-old is not worried by the current lack of movement around his future.

GIVEMESPORT sources understand that Sancho knows that he has Dortmund as a 'safety blanket option', and is unconcerned about the fact a move to Juventus hasn't happened yet. He believes a deal will be sorted one way or another by the deadline.
