LaJohntay Wester's preseason debut with the Baltimore Ravens had X buzzing on Thursday evening. The forever Buff returned a punt 87-yards for a score in the Ravens' 24-16 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.

"One of the reasons they brought me here is to become a game changer in the special teams department," Wester told the media after the game. "I'm taking that role head on, I just have to keep improving day-in and day-out so I can go ahead and lock that job down when the season starts."
Wester was also targeted a team-high three times on Thursday night, hauling in two passes for 41 yards. His 145 total yards led the Ravens.

Wester was selected No. 203 overall in April's 2025 NFL Draft. He was an All-American as a punt returner as a fourth-year junior at Florida Atlantic, and during his senior season with the Buffaloes, he hauled in 74 receptions for 931 yards and 11 total touchdowns.
