Yalcouye could follow Championship route to Albion role

The Championship outfit fancy taking Malick Yalcouye to the Championship for the season.

The 19-year-old impressed for Albion during two friendlies on the pre-season trip to Marbella.

He played alongside James Milner in both those games and again behind closed doors at Southampton for an hour last week.

But he will go on loan again in the coming campaign.

Swansea have indicated they would be interested in taking him.

Swansea have a reputation for playing attractive football and ranked third for possession share in the Championship last season.

Albion goalkeeper Carl Rushworth had successful loan to Swansea two seasons ago.

Ben White, Jan Paul van Hecke and Yasin Ayari have all shone after seasons on loan in the ultra-competitive second tier.
