Markkanen erupted for a national team career-high 48 points in Finland’s blowout win over Belgium, 105-62.
The Finnish superstar forward went 17-of-24 from the field, including 7-of-13 from three-point range, while also adding 8 rebounds, 3 steals, and a block in 25 minutes of action.
EuroBasket 2025 will take place from August 27 to September 14 in Cyprus, Finland, Poland, and Latvia.
Finland will play in Group B, where they will host Sweden, Great Britain, Montenegro, Lithuania, and Germany.
