An insight into the plans of the brass at La Liga giants Barcelona to deal with the imminent departure of Iñigo Martínez has been forthcoming online.
All associated with Barcelona have over the last 24 hours of course been forced to come to terms with a surprise exit from the club’s squad.
This comes after the aforementioned Iñigo made the call to bring a close to his stint in Blaugrana colours.
The 34-year-old, seeking out one final pay day in the twilight years of his career, has agreed on the terms of a move to Saudi Arabia, with Al-Nassr.

As per a report from Blaugrana insider Achraf Ben Ayad:
‘Barcelona do not rule out searching for a defender provided the conditions allow for it. Initially, the club’s external message is to rely on what is available, but internally, they do not rule it out at all.’
