He went on to say the team believes that is the only location in Cook County that will work with their design plan, including a fixed-roof.
Warren said the Bears have had weekly meeting with Arlington Heights leadership to discuss their plan, and said they've been making excellent progress.

He said they hope to proceed forward this year.
Last month, the team asked fans for input on things like parking and tailgating in a survey.
The Bears appear to have to shifted their focus away from Chicago and a new lakefront stadium to the former Arlington Park racecourse property, which the team owns in Arlington Heights.
The Bears have said they'll foot the bill for the suburban stadium, but they want public money for the surrounding district. That would include restaurants and retail and various public spaces.
