Tottenham Hotspur are ready to beat Everton to the signing of Tyler Dibling
Tottenham Hotspur have been looking to bring Southampton wide forward Tyler Dibling to Hotspur Way as Daniel Levy looks to take advantage of the uncertainty surrounding his future on the South Coast, per TEAMtalk, and the North Londoners may end up pushing to land his signature.
The 19-year-old was one of the few bright spots in a Southampton side that was relegated out of the Premier League last season. He had 38 appearances under his belt across all competitions while registering four goals and three assists to his name, and given that those numbers might not be much of a highlight, he showed a sense of maturity and intelligence with his performances in a side struggling for rhythm, and that has caught the eye of a lot of fans as well as clubs in the English top tier.
Everton pushing for Dibling
Everton are reportedly keen on securing the services of Southampton winger Tyler Dibling this summer.
Everton has been in the pole position to land his signature for a long time, with David Moyes making him a priority target for the Blues, but the Merseysiders saw two bids rejected for him and are not really looking to pay that £50 million fee which Southampton has placed on him. The Lilywhites, alongside Newcastle, have entered the conversation, with Tottenham particularly keen to understand the scope of a possible move this summer.
The Saints, for now, are holding firm and are quite aware of the growing interest from multiple Premier League clubs, which ends up putting them in a strong spot, but given that Dibling himself is understood to want a return to top-flight, he is looking for a move away.

Given how Tottenham have prioritised bringing in highly regarded young players at Hotspur Way of late, bringing in someone who is as highly rated as Tyler Dibling would fit right into that strategy. Moreover, the price tag is within reach of the North Londoners’ financial flex, complemented by the fact that he has a pathway at Tottenham to get into the side and make an impact under Thomas Frank.
If push did come to shove, I think Dibling would prefer moving to a traditional big six side in Tottenham over the aforementioned duo. But Levy needs to be on that table to make a deal and act quickly.
