Shedeur Sanders is officially an NFL quarterback, throwing touchdowns, and his father couldn’t be prouder. This week, Shedeur Sanders was named the Cleveland Browns’ official starter as QBs Dillon Gabriel and Kenny Pickett were sidelined with injuries.
Ahead of Friday’s game, Deion spoke about the emotions going into watching his son’s first NFL game.
“It’s going to be a little weird. It’s going to be a little strange,” Deion Sanders said. “It really is. I got to admit that. But I’m praying for him, and God has set him up and placed him in the perfect position that he needs to be in. It’s going to be a problem after tonight, though. I promise you that.”
Deion had nothing to worry about because Shedeur impressed right out of the gate in his debut.
In the first half, Shedeur went 11/18 for 104 yards and two touchdowns for a QB passer rating of 113.9
It didn’t take long for Deion to gloat over his son’s performance on social media.
