The two sides will meet first in a behind closed doors friendly at the performance centre, the Cherries taking on the Sociedad B team.
Then, they will play at Dean Court, the only pre-season game for the Cherries in front of their home fans.
It will be the last chance for players to impress Andoni Iraola ahead of their visit to Anfield, although the Basque boss will likely look to give minutes to those he hopes will play a part on Merseyside.
With Neto looking set for a move to Botofago, Djordje Petrovic may well be handed a full 90 minutes, while the friendly may be telling for who Iraola will opt for at Liverpool.
(Image: Robin Jones/AFC Bournemouth) Hamed Traore has played a prominent role in pre-season so far, while Iraola has a wealth of options on the wing.
Justin Kluivert missed the games in the USA against Everton, Manchester United and West Ham, although had an outside chance of playing against the Hammers, so he may be back for the visit of Sociedad.
Ryan Christie and Luis Sinisterra continue their recoveries from injury.
Those three games in the States followed friendlies against Hibernian and Bristol City, both of which were behind closed doors.
Match reports from the Summer Series:
Playing in the Premier League Summer Series saw the Cherries beat Everton convincingly in their first game, winning 3-0 after an excellent second half saw Philip Billing, Dango Ouattara and Daniel Adu-Adjei score.
But a poor 4-1 defeat to United followed, with the tour ending with a more encouraging performance against the Hammers, although Bournemouth were beaten 2-0.
(Image: Robin Jones/AFC Bournemouth) Sociedad have played five games so far in pre-season, winning three, drawing once and losing once.
They defeated Pau 2-0 in their opening friendly, before a trip to Japan that saw them lose 1-0 to Nagasaki but beat Yokohama 2-1.
Returning to Spain, they defeated Osasuna 4-1 and then drew to Rennes 1-1 last weekend.
The Basque club is managed by Sergio Francisco, who is from the region and played for Sociedad as a player and progressed through the club in management, managing their C and B teams before taking on the job as first team boss for the start of this season.
AFC Bournemouth host Real Sociedad at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday, August 9. Kick off at 5.15pm.
