'People who know Grealish': What Jack Grealish is telling his close friends about joining…

Everton want to push on with their interest in Manchester City outcast Jack Grealish.

David Moyes is desperate to see a new winger come through the doors at Finch Farm, with time running out ahead of the new season.

The Man City winger has been told to find a new club this summer, with Everton keen to sign Grealish on loan for the season.

A number of obstacles stand in their way, though.

It has been suggested that City want Grealish’s wages covered entirely in any loan deal to see him depart the Etihad Stadium.

That would be a huge ask for Everton, but the Toffees are now being given some encouragement from within Grealish’s camp.

Jack Grealish has told friends he wants to join Everton

Alan Stubbs has spoken to Grealish about joining Everton this summer after the pair met during respective trips to Marbella.

It cannot be understated how big of a season lies ahead for Grealish, with the 29-year-old keen to return to the England squad.

Speaking to Sirius XM, former Everton player Adrian Heath has claimed those around the winger have suggested he wants to join the Blues.

“I know a lot of people who know Jack Grealish really well, and I know he wants this deal to happen,” said Heath.

“I know he wants to go to Everton. I just think it helps everyone. Everton need that spark.”

Some have suggested Grealish would prefer to join Tottenham Hotspur, who are able to offer Champions League football.

But joining Everton could see Grealish really make himself a fan favourite on Merseyside in the ambitious project under the Friedkins.

Everton need to go all out for Grealish

Pull out all of the stops and make this deal happen, Everton.

Everton have contacted City over Grealish, but the suggestion that contact was made on Wednesday are believed to be wide of the mark.

By no means is this going to be an easy deal to get over the line, but it could front the Friedkins’ ambitious plans on Merseyside.

The Friedkins want to make a statement signing at Everton, and Grealish could be that player.

Wages are going to be an issue, but they would for most clubs, which could well force City into compromising on their demands.

This would really get fans off their seats at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
