Manchester United have signed Benjamin Sesko, now taking their summer spree to over £200million.
Sesko, 22, is expected to be introduced to the Old Trafford crowd on Saturday lunchtime, ahead of the Red Devils' pre-season friendly with Serie A side Fiorentina. The Slovenian flew to Old Trafford to complete his medical after United reached an agreement with RB Leipzig on Thursday.
United reached an agreement in principle with Leipzig worth €76.5m + €8.5m (£66.3m + £7.4m) after the striker snubbed Newcastle.
The 22-year-old reportedly made clear he wanted to move to United over Newcastle, despite the promise of Champions League football. It's reported that Sesko turned down more money at Newcastle and his agency have given up a significant share of their commission to make the move happen.
The Red Devils' summer spending has now tipped over £200m, with Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Diego Leon all making the move to the red half of Manchester.
United are yet to make a sale this summer, with Marcus Rashford's loan to Barcelona the only notable exit.
And their spending comes after Sir Jim Ratcliffe's warning in March: "I know it's unpopular, and this period of change is uncomfortable for people, and some of the decisions we have to make are unpleasant. But they are necessary to put Manchester United back on to a stable footing.
"If people want to see Manchester United winning trophies again then we have do all this stuff.

“Manchester United would have run out of cash by the end of this year - by the end of 2025 - after having me put $300m (£232.72m) in and if we buy no new players in the summer.
"We are in the process of change and it's an uncomfortable period and disruptive and I do feel sympathy with the fans.
"The simple answer is the club runs out of money at Christmas if we don't do those things. If you spend more than you earn eventually that's the road to ruin."
