Manchester United have announced Benjamin Sesko as their new striker.
It’s been a long summer search for a new striker at Manchester United.
Ruben Amorim has decided to enforce his attacking options ahead of the new season, after initially adding Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo to his squad.
The striker search started with Liam Delap and Viktor Gyokeres, but both players chose to join other Premier League clubs.
United then turned their attention elsewhere and looked at Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins before deciding to pursue RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko.
There was stiff competition to secure Sesko’s signature from Newcastle, but United got the deal over the line with the striker getting his dream move.

The sky is the limit for Sesko at Old Trafford and he will expect to compete for a place in the team with Rasmus Hojlund, unless the Dane leaves the club before the start of the 2025/26 campaign.
Sesko is set to be unveiled to United fans at Old Trafford before the pre-season friendly against Fiorentina this afternoon.
What Sesko said about his transfer to Man Utd
There is no denying that Sesko is excited about his transfer to United.
The Red Devils have been tracking the Slovenian since he was a teenager.
Speaking about his transfer to United, Sesko told club media he cannot wait to work with Amorim and the squad.
Benjamin Sesko said: “The history of Manchester United is obviously very special but what really excites me is the future.
“When we discussed the project, it was clear that everything is in place for this team to continue to grow and compete for the biggest trophies again soon.
“From the moment that I arrived, I could feel the positive energy and family environment that the club has created. It is clearly the perfect place to reach my maximum level and fulfil all of my ambitions.
“I cannot wait to start learning from Ruben [Amorim] and connecting with my team-mates to achieve the success that we all know we are capable of together.”
