Newcastle United have informed Alexander Isak that he will not be sold this summer, and a new transfer report has shared how the forward has reacted to the news.
A bombshell was dropped in July by the Swede, who confirmed his intentions to leave the club after three memorable years.
Newcastle United have done a lot for Alexander Isak, who signed for a club record fee of £63million in 2022. The 25-year-old was undoubtedly Newcastle’s star man last season, helping them qualify for the Champions League and scoring in the Carabao Cup final win against Liverpool at Wembley.
Sadly, all those memories are now tarnished by Isak’s intentions to leave Newcastle. Eddie Howe was honest about Isak’s lack of involvement during pre-season. It was believed that Isak was struggling with a thigh injury, but Howe has since confirmed that the Sweden international is fully fit but is training away from Newcastle’s first team squad.
All signs point to Isak leaving this summer, but a new report has stated what he has been told about a possible sale.

Alexander Isak furious with Newcastle United over fresh transfer stance
Isak is subject to serious interest from Liverpool, despite the Reds already signing Hugo Ekitike at striker. Liverpool placed a £110million bid for Isak, which was quickly turned down as Newcastle are looking for around £150million for their star striker.
Earlier this week, Isak was spotted returning to Newcastle’s training ground and has since engaged in talks with Howe. While the Newcastle boss did not reveal what those talks entailed, it has now been reported by the Telegraph that Isak was left furious in the aftermath.
The report states that Newcastle have told Isak that he will not be sold this summer, and will not be allowed to join Liverpool. Isak has supposedly refused to accept the decision made by PIF with good grace and has now been told to train alone by Howe.

PIF’s decision has been given the backing of Jamie Reuben, a minority stakeholder at Newcastle who has also worked alongside the recruitment team in an effort to bring more players to Tyneside.
Isak does not seem able to come to terms with the fact that his club do not want to sell him this summer, even if it now looks like the best option.
Whether Eddie Howe has fallen out with Newcastle United star Alexander Isak
It is clear that there is a lot of tension on Tyneside between Howe and Isak, but the Newcastle boss is adamant that he would have the 25-year-old back in training in a heartbeat if the situation blows over.
Howe was on the touchline for Newcastle’s 2-2 draw against Espanyol on Friday night, though Isak was nowhere to be seen. It had already been confirmed that he would not be taking part in the friendlies this week, and his inclusion for the first game against Aston Villa is also in doubt.
Speaking to the press about Isak, Howe said: “We’ve had discussions, and it’s clear at the moment that we can’t involve him with the group. I don’t know how long that will be for, but that’s the latest.
“I’d want Alex to be playing today, I’d want him training tomorrow. We would love the player to be with us.”Let me make that absolutely clear. There’s no part of me that doesn’t want that outcome, but I don’t see the current situation changing for Aston Villa.”
