Leandro Trossard’s contract talks have stalled and there’s an increasing sense he could leave Arsenal this summer, according to a report.

In his appearance on the Latte Firm YouTube channel this week, BBC journalist Sami Mokbel reported that he’s heard over the last week that there’s a chance Leandro Trossard could leave Arsenal this summer.
Mokbel adds that there were positive talks between Arsenal and Trossard over a new contract at the start of the summer window, and it seemed like the player was nailed-on to stay. But the situation hasn’t progressed, with the Belgian international not signing the offer on the table.
Given the player’s hesitance to commit to a new deal despite terms mostly already being agreed, Mokbel suggests that Trossard may be open to leaving and that Arsenal could be willing to listen to offers.

Mokbel’s report follows a similar update from James McNicholas of The Athletic, who pointed out that whilst Arsenal had been in talks with Trossard over a new deal, the contract remains unsigned.
McNicholas suggested the player and his new representatives could be waiting to see what opportunities the summer market might bring.
There were subsequently some tentative links between Trossard and Borussia Dortmund, but nothing much has come of the rumours since then. If there is a club seriously preparing to bid for Trossard, their identity is yet to break in the media.

For the time being, Trossard is working on recovering from a minor injury setback suffered during pre-season in last week’s game against Tottenham Hotspur.
The winger has already missed one friendly against Villarreal, and he’s expected to miss Saturday’s game against Athletic Club after he remained absent from training on Friday.
But Arteta had suggested on Wednesday that there was at least a chance Trossard would return in time for the Athletic Club match. Even if he does end up missing out, it sounds as though he’s not far off a comeback.
