Man Utd fans drop their verdict on Bryan Mbeumo after what they saw at Old Trafford against Fiorentina
Bryan Mbeumo made his debut for the Red Devils last week after Ruben Amorim started the summer signing in Manchester United’s 2-2 friendly clash with Everton.
The 26-year-old former Brentford ace was deployed on the right flank in attack against Fiorentina, with Matheus Cunha on the left and Mason Mount playing up top.
United fans on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, were deeply impressed with the “lightning” pace that Mbeumo offered the Red Devils on the ball.
One Red Devils supporter wrote: “Mbeumo is lightning fast. How is he getting to the end of some of these balls?”
“Mbeumo has pace. I didn’t realise he was as fast,” another United fan said.
While a third simply pointed out: “Bro, Mbeumo’s first touch, pace and crossing is insane.”
Someone else commented: “Mbeumo is rapid!”
🧠 "He is the right character."

“Mbeumo plays like a mature footballer,” a fifth added.
And a sixth X user tweeted: “Mbeumo. I see the pace.”
Another United supporter posted: “An excellent first half from Bryan Mbeumo. He’s been brilliant with his back to goal. His link play under pressure has been superb, and he offers pace behind. We’ve got ourselves a player.”
“Mbeumo technically so clean. Sharpness [is] missing but you can see the pace,” somebody else claimed.

What happened in Man Utd’s final 2025 pre-season tour match vs Fiorentina at Old Trafford amid Bryan Mbeumo’s performance?
Fiorentina made an early impact in Saturday’s pre-season friendly encounter after Switzerland defensive midfielder Simon Sohm broke the deadlock against United.
United switched off from a corner and Albert Gudmundsson whipped a cross into an unmarked Simon Sohm, who fired a superb low first-time strike past Altay Bayindir.
Ruben Amorim’s men cancelled out Simon Sohm’s opener in the 25th minute, with Robin Gosens putting the ball into the back of David de Gea’s Fiorentina net.
Bruno Fernandes whipped a stunning cross into the Fiorentina box and an under-pressure Robin Gosens could only send the ball in one direction amid the chaos.
