Jadon Sancho is said to have emerged as transfer target for Atletico Madrid, as Manchester United look to trim their squad.
The Red Devils were held to a 1-1 stalemate by Fiorentina at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon in their final pre-season friendly before the onset of the 2025-26 Premier League season.
Summer signings Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo both started, while striker Benjamin Sesko was unveiled to the home crowd, and the trio are expected to transform the club's offensive ranks next term.
With so many forwards brought in, Ruben Amorim could look to move a number of attackers on this summer, with the likes of Rasmus Hojlund and Jadon Sancho candidates to be sold.
Fichajes report that the latter is now a serious option for Atletico Madrid, though Borussia Dortmund are still thought to be keen on his signature.

Who could Manchester United sell this summer transfer window?
Sancho has just one year on his contract, and considering he has had two loan spells since joining the Red Devils and has fallen out with fans at Old Trafford, he will almost certainly be pushed towards the exit doors.
The Englishman's salary is reported to be close to £300,000-a-week, and his earnings may mean that United will have to settle for yet another loan deal before he leaves for free in 2026.
Hojlund has endured two difficult seasons at Old Trafford, with the striker netting just four times in the league last term, and he has been linked with a move back to Italy.
Winger Antony was on loan at Real Betis in 2024-25, but there has been little movement on his transfer despite the Brazilian excelling in Spain.

Has Amorim made a mistake by signing too many attackers?
After his side finished 15th in the Premier League with their joint lowest points total (42) in the top flight since 1973-74, Amorim will be under immense pressure to turn his team's fortunes around.
The club have so far focused on reinforcing their offensive ranks having signed Cunha, Mbeumo and Sesko, and the trio are likely to improve upon the performances of the team's attacking players from 2024-25.
Some fans are concerned that the Red Devils have so far failed to sign a midfielder, and while they have been linked with Brighton & Hove Albion number six Carlos Baleba, a deal for the 21-year-old could be prohibitively expensive.
If United continue to struggle on the pitch, and if their forward players struggle to make an impact in the final third, then it is difficult to see Amorim remaining in charge.
