GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — As the Arizona Cardinals gear up for Saturday’s preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs, State Farm Stadium vendors are introducing some delicious new offerings.
You can’t talk football without talking food, too.
Some new menu items for Cardinals home games include loaded fries, corn dogs and a panini stand. They also have some mouth-watering new desserts.
“This year we have a crème brûlée donut tower,” Executive Chef Sean Kavanaugh said. “Three large yeast donuts filled with crème brûlée. We caramelize turbinado sugar on top of it. One of them has Cardinal-color sprinkles on it. The other one has candied bacon. And then the top one has whipped cream and candy M&Ms. And it’s skewered together with a little football pick.”
There’s also new food at local restaurant vendors like Someburros, Chicago Dawg House, Humble Bistro and Chef Peterson’s Mediterranean.
Also new this year, fans can order food straight from their seats using the Cardinals’ mobile app.
