Buffalo Bills See Major Move With Star RB James Cook

The dynamics between the Buffalo Bills and running back James Cook shifted before Saturday’s preseason game against the New York Giants.

Cook has been holding in at practices during training camp this summer, hoping to sign a new deal in the neighborhood of $15 million per year.

Per Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic, Cook was dressed in full uniform and took a rep before the peseason game.

“Bills RB James Cook is in full uniform for warmups. He sat out of the last four practices at training camp as part of a hold-in. This does not mean Cook plays, but, an intriguing sub-plot all the same,” Buscaglia posted on X. “Bills RB James Cook went through a rep of 11-on-11 during warmups with the first-team offense.”
