Everton fans have now experienced a full capacity crowd at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in their final friendly of the summer.
David Moyes’ focus will now shift swiftly to the Premier League curtain raiser in just over a week against Leeds United.
It will be a couple of weeks before the Toffees return to the Hill Dickinson Stadium for their game against Brighton & Hove Albion.
After years of waiting, the new stadium offers a new dawn for the Blues, with Everton’s finances taking a big boost from the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
New memories will be made on the docks, but there was one reminder of the past with Farhad Moshiri attending the game.
There was a clear response from the Everton fans who were able to spot the former Everton owner.

Everton fans react to Farhad Moshiri spotting at Hill Dickinson Stadium
Everton hope the new stadium will attract better players in the summer transfer window.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Adam Aznou and Thierno Barry were all on display, with the left-back replacing an injured Vitaliy Mykolenko.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
But it was a familiar face in the form of their former owner, who was on display on Saturday at the new stadium.
Despite their previous frustrations towards Moshiri, it seems as if spirits were high as fans smiled for photos with the 70-year-old.
Even Moyes questioned Moshiri’s time at Everton, with the 62-year-old disappointed with the state of the club he inherited.
Moshiri did say he’d be at the Hill Dickinson Stadium opening, and he stuck to his word, having overseen most of its construction.
Fans won’t have been impressed by Everton’s display vs Roma
One thing was clear, Everton fans enjoyed Dewsbury-Hall’s debut for the club, after he got a good hour in his legs.
However, there were not a great deal of other positives to take from the game.
Everton really lacked that spark in the final third, which Moyes has already shared his concerns about whilst away in the United States.
Moyes wants more attacking players signed, and it has become evident that a huge week awaits Everton in the window.
After that display at the new stadium, there is a lot to improve on back at Finch Farm.
