Leeds United have ended their pre-season tour with the game against AC Milan. The Whites were able to hold their own and finished their tour unbeaten.
Santiago Giminez gave AC Milan the lead in the first half. Leeds equalized through stunning goal from new signing Anton Stach. The German midfielder stole the show and cemented his place in the team ahead of next week’s Premier League opener against Everton.

There were bright spots overall, as Gabriel Gudmundsson and Wilfried Gnonto impressed down the left. But the team still lacked a bit of an attacking edge. The club is still in the market for some attacking signings in the coming week.

Daniel Farke provides Jayden Bogle update

Jayden Bogle missed his second game in a row this afternoon, prompting questions about his fitness heading into the new season. The defender also missed the game against Villarreal. Isaac Schmidt once again filled in at right back for the Milan game.
Leeds fans’ fears can be put to rest after it was revealed that Bogle will be in training this week.
Jayden Bogle expected back in team training this week. Farke hopes he can then be a topic for the squad v Everton.

Most of the players who missed out against Villarreal returned this afternoon, so hopefully Daniel Fare has the full complement of his squad against Everton.
Leeds United need to sign a new fullback
Outside adding to the attack, Leeds desperately need cover for Jayden Bogle. The defender is very important to Daniel Farke’s system, and the game against Manchester United proved just that.
It is also unlikely that Isaac Schmidt will continue in this role as backup right back, so the club need to bite the bullet and go out and get a quality backup.
