The NFL decided to allow a video to leak to the public that depicts what can happen to a player in the league who doesn’t follow the rules. Being a multi-billion dollar business, it can be cut throat.

In 2016, Long, 25, was abruptly released by the Rams following training camp in Los Angeles. A Rams episode of HBO’s Hard Knocks revealed that Long was released after breaking one of Jeff Fisher’s strict rules: no visitors:
Long didn’t obey the rule and had a woman in his room, as he said in the show while pleading with Fisher during a one-on-one meeting.
“What part did you not understand?” Fisher said to Long on the show. “Sorry, but this is our world, man. We have rules and we have to abide by them. I thought I made myself really clear.”
Long began his NFL career as an undrafted free-agent out of Maryland in 2015 with the Tennessee Titans.
