Levante are keen to sign Karl Hein on loan for the 2025/26 campaign, but the Gunners are prioritising a permanent move for the goalkeeper at this stage.

Ryan Taylor reports for the Mirror that La Liga club Levante are keen to sign Arsenal goalkeeper Karl Hein on loan, but the Gunners favour a permanent sale and are actively encouraging bids.
Taylor adds that Rangers have also been credited with an interest, though links to Sevilla are fading.
Though Sevilla were keen at one stage, they’ve since secured a loan deal for Newcastle United’s Odysseas Vlachodimos. It looks like they no longer require Hein’s services this season.

Arsenal haven’t confirmed when Hein’s contract expires, with the goalkeeper signing a new deal last summer. There have been suggestions the contract was only a two-year deal, meaning it would expire in 2026, making a loan move difficult to justify.
Even if Hein’s deal goes longer to 2027 or beyond, it seems the plan is still to move him on sooner rather than later. But that requires a willing bidder for a permanent transfer, and there don’t seem to be many at the moment.

Hein missed the Asia tour of Singapore and Hong Kong due to a thumb injury, and there were suggestions his absence could also have had something to do with his uncertain future.
But the 23-year-old was back in training this week, so he’s fit and available to play for Arsenal or secure a move away.
