The Lions had also offered encouraging updates after Morice Norris was taken to the hospital, revealing he was conscious and alert and had movement in his extremities.
Teammate Terrion Arnold also posted a photo of himself and Norris speaking via FaceTime on Saturday morning.
The former Fresno State standout signed with Detroit as an undrafted free agent last year and spent most of the season on the practice squad. He was competing for a spot on the roster but has experienced an unfortunate setback.
Still, it appears he might not be seriously injured.
