Juventus have announced the contract extension of Cecilia Salvai until 2027, with an option to extend until 2028. The centre-back has made 145 appearances for the club so far, scoring eight goals and winning 14 trophies.
Salvai joined Juventus in 2017 and has previously played for Brescia, Verona, Lugano, Torino, and Canavese. On the international stage, she represents Italy and recently featured at UEFA [Women’s EURO 2025](https://womenfootball.blog/womens-euro-2025/), where Italy reached the semi-finals before being eliminated by eventual champions England.
According to Mauro Munno, Switzerland international Alisha Lehmann is set to move from Juventus to Como after just one season, during which she won both the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia.
Lehmann signed a three-year deal with Juventus in the summer of 2024, joining from Aston Villa, where she made 17 appearances and scored three goals in her final season.
The winger began her senior career in the Swiss Women’s Super League in 2016 and, the following year, won the Golden Boot before moving to England. She first signed with West Ham United, then spent a loan spell at Everton, and later played three seasons with Aston Villa in the WSL. Across her time in England, she scored 19 goals and provided 10 assists.
Internationally, Lehmann has earned over 50 caps for Switzerland, appearing at both the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup and UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 on home soil. At the latter, Switzerland reached the quarter-finals before losing 2–0 to Spain, who went on to the semi-finals.
