Crystal Palace have announced that Annabel Blanchard has signed a new contract, keeping her at the club until 2027. The midfielder joined Palace in the summer of 2022 and scored 11 goals in the 2023/24 season, helping secure the Women’s Championship title. She has made 72 competitive appearances for Crystal Palace and will now play a key role in their bid to return to the English top flight.
**Manager Jo Potter said**: “We are thrilled to have Annabel, a player who has already achieved plenty at this club, back at Crystal Palace.
“She is a hugely talented player, and we are all looking forward to working with her as we begin our WSL2 campaign.”
**Blanchard said**: “I’d had a couple of conversations with Jo and heard what her ambitions are with the club and what we can do next season, and I’m just excited to get going.
“Crystal Palace means a lot to me. I’ve got a lot of love and respect for the club, and I feel the love from the fans, so I’m excited to get going and play in front of them again.”
Seventeen-year-old midfielder Lola Brown will spend next season on loan at Crystal Palace in the Women’s Super League 2. She joined the Blues in 2019, playing for the U12s, and was named Chelsea Women’s Academy U18 Player of the Year for the 2023/24 campaign. In November 2024, she signed her first professional contract.

On the international stage, she has progressed through the youth ranks and most recently featured at the Women’s U19 Euros this June.
