Manchester United have made solid acquisitions in the summer transfer window so far. Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha have joined to reinforce the attack while Benjamin Sesko has arrived as well.

That’s solid additions to Ruben Amorim’s squad. The Portuguese tactician will be much happier with the options he has in his squad compared to what he did last season.

Of course, there are exits the club still has to sort out. The likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Antony are all on the exit ramp and it looks like Man Utd are also willing to let Rasmus Hojlund leave on loan.

Now, as per Corriere dello Sport, Man Utd are prepared to agree a financial package of around £39.8million to loan out the Danish striker this summer amid interest from AC Milan.

Man Utd want around £5.2m as a fixed loan fee and the rest as an option to buy him at the end of the season. The Serie A side are very keen on signing the 22-year-old striker and the Rome based outlet have mentioned that a deal is close.

Hojlund is no stranger to the Italian top-flight. It was at Atalanta that he made a name for himself. Man Utd signed him from there a couple of seasons ago.

Without a doubt, the Danish striker has a lot of talent. However, he isn’t ready or anywhere close to the finished product to lead the line for Man Utd. A move to AC Milan should benefit him.

The arrival of Benjamin Sesko puts Man Utd in a very good position for the number nine role.

The Slovenian is one of the most talented young strikers going around and unliked Hojlund, he seems ready to wear the Red Devils jersey.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Hojlund. The Dane could choose to stay at Man Utd and compete for a place with Sesko and only time will tell how it plays out.
