The wait is finally over as the NFL preseason is officially here, and these two squads continue their preparation for their opening games of the regular season during this matchup.
We likely will not see many of the stars in action, as all of Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and Puka Nacua will almost certainly get the night off. However, there are still plenty of storylines to follow.
The Rams have been without Matthew Stafford during Training Camp, and while his absence is not yet a major cause for concern, Los Angeles needs to have a contingency plan in case he is not ready to go in week 1.
Jimmy Garoppolo must demonstrate this preseason that he remains capable of leading an NFL offense as the starting quarterback. He has performed well during camp, but the Rams' coaching staff will have much more confidence in him if he can show it against an opposing defense.
