JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- After returning to practice ahead of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ first preseason game, rookie undrafted free agent tight end DJ Thomas-Jones is a surprising inactive.
Thomas-Jones did not practice the last two days and missed over a week with an ankle injury. He is one of 23 inactive for the Steelers, with most of those being starters who are being rested.
