JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little made NFL history before the end of the first half against the Pittsburgh Steelers by drilling 70-yard field goal.

If this had been the regular season, Little’s field goal would have smashed the previous NFL record of 66 yards. He has routinely done the same thing in practice, and now got try it out in a game.

That gave the Jaguars a much needed three points before the half to trim their deficit to five points rather than eight. Little was 27 of 29 on field goals made last year and was a perfect 27 of 27 on extra points.

A sixth-round pick out of Arkansas by the Jaguars in the 2024 NFL Draft, he had a career-high of 59 yards last year. Little made the PFWA All-Rookie team.

Little’s 70-yard field goal is still a record even for the preseason, giving him the record.
