Manchester United have delivered in the transfer market for Ruben Amorim by giving him quality options in attack for the start of the Premier League season next weekend.
Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha both arrived earlier in the window but the arrival of a new striker has been rumbling on for some time. Fortunately, a solution has been found in the shape of Benjamin Sesko.
The striker completed his move to Old Trafford yesterday from RB Leipzig after United beat Newcastle United to his signature. However, Jason Wilcox isn't done there and a new midfielder could be the next move in the window.
Here, MEN Sport brings you the latest on the transfer front this Sunday morning.
PSG 'anticipate' Donnarumma bid
Paris Saint-Germain are anticipating a flurry of bids for goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma after confirming the signing of Lucas Chevalier from LOSC Lille.
United are among the clubs showing interest in the Italy international, who has one year left on his deal in France. PSG are happy to part ways with Donnarumma and are reportedly preparing for his sale.
ESPN have claimed that United, Chelsea and Inter Milan are all chasing him and PSG are now waiting for a bid, with it previously claimed £26m would be enough.
MEN Sport says: "United should be all over Donnarumma, but only if they sell Andre Onana. The priority is a new midfielder and if they are capable of providing a new workhorse for Amorim, a new goalkeeper seems unlikely.
"However, if Onana is sold, the Reds will have to bring in a replacement and there aren't many better in Europe than Donnarumma. With just one year left on his deal, there isn't a better time to sign him, but right now, United just can't work around it."
AC Milan enter Hojlund talks
Following Sesko's arrival , there are more doubts over Rasmus Hojlund's future at the club than ever. His place as United's number one centre-forward is no longer alive and the prospect of being second fiddle remains.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Milan have started discussing the numbers to sign the Danish star. The journalist has claimed the details are a €6million (£5.1m) loan fee with a buy option worth €45m (£38.9m).
It's also claimed that the Serie A side would pay his whole salary. However, Hojlund is yet to give his green light to an exit.
MEN Sport says: "United have to be very smart with what they decide to do with Hojlund. Sesko's arrival does mean the pressure on him doesn't weigh heavy, but he's not going to be first choice anymore.
"But if they loan him out, where do they go as a second choice? Joshua Zirkzee seems better suited to playing deeper and Chido Obi is still so raw. If they let him go, do they turn to Dominic Calvert-Lewin or Jamie Vardy on a free?"
