Liverpool star Mohamed Salah believes Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak should command a higher price than him on the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) platform.
The Premier League champions want to sign Isak, who remains frozen out of the picture at Newcastle United despite recovering from the “minor thigh injury” that ruled him out of the pre-season tour of Asia.
Liverpool could still make a new bid for Isak, despite suggesting they were prepared to walk away from the deal due to the costs involved.
Newcastle could block Isak’s move to Liverpool but it remains to be seen how strong they are in that stance if the player continues to push for an exit.
Isak is one of the best strikers in the Premier League. In fact, he was the leading central striker last season, scoring more than Erling Haaland (23 goals to 22).
While Salah bagged more (29), he is obviously more of a wide forward.
As such, the Reds star is unhappy that he’s the most expensive player in the game.

Mohamed Salah unhappy with FPL price
Last month, it was confirmed that the Egypt international would cost FPL players a game-high £14.5million.

Still, Salah is unhappy with that. Indeed, he wants his price lowered so that more players can afford to have him in their teams.
He suggested that Haaland and Isak should cost more than him.
“First of all, I want you guys to put my price down so everybody can have me in their team,” he said in a video released by the Fantasy Premier League’s official X account.

“I said that on Twitter before, I’m telling you in a video. Put my price down.
“Now I am the highest. No, put the strikers the highest. Haaland should be the highest. Isak should be the highest.”
Alexander Isak’s FPL price confirmed
Regardless of who Isak plays for next season, he’s likely to be a hot pick among FPL players.
In 86 Premier League appearances, the Sweden star has bagged 54 goals.
Obviously, it’s almost certain he’s going to have a delayed start to next season no matter where he plays, given his current exile from the Newcastle United squad.
The striker is priced at £10.5million in the 2025/26 version of the popular game.
