Sheffield United could be set to lose one of their attackers as Everton eye a move for Tyrese Campbell after their rejected Tyler Dibling bid, as per The Star.
Sheffield United are at the beginning of a new era after Chris Wilder departed the club for a second time, leaving the door open for Ruben Selles to take charge in their latest promotion attempt.

While the club have backed the new manager with five new signings, including former Stockport County and Hull City loanee Louie Barry, the Blades may still require some new additions before the end of the transfer window, as competition in the Championship appears to be at an all-time high.
However, according to The Star, Sheffield United could lose Campbell to Everton, as the Premier League club have expressed an interest in signing the former Stoke City forward.
Everton could be looking at Campbell as an alternative to Southampton’s Dibling, as Will Still’s side has rejected three bids for the right-winger, including an offer worth £45 million, including add-ons.

David Moyes could be forced into moving for another target again because Campbell has made it clear that he wants to stay at Bramall Lane, despite interest from the Premier League.
When asked if he wanted to stay at Sheffield United, with the ongoing transfer speculation, he said: “One hundred per cent, yeah. The club took the risk with me, and I want to repay them for the faith that they put into me. So I definitely want to be here and be a part of that.”

Campbell could be set for Premier League future
Despite expressing an interest in staying in the Championship for the time being, Campbell could be set for a Premier League future if he continues to step up year after year.
At Stoke City, the most goals Campbell scored in a full campaign was nine, coming in the 2022/23 season, as he also registered five assists.

However, last season – in his first year as a Sheffield United player – the 25-year-old scored 11 goals in just 20 second tier starts, playing 36 league appearances in total.

If Campbell continues to impress next season, he could be rewarded with more game time and, as such, more opportunities to find the back of the net and showcase his true ability to top flight sides watching from a distance.
Sheffield United’s attacking options
Going into this season, Sheffield United have a whole host of forward players to choose from, despite losing Rhian Brewster and Kieffer Moore earlier in the summer.
New signings Christian Nwachukwu and Ehije Ukaki provide an unknown excitement from the left and right wings, respectively. While Barry looks to continue his rise up the Football League after a difficult second half of the season at Hull City.
Tom Cannon and Campbell are the most recognised centre forwards at the club, but young Louie Marsh and Ryan One could be pushing for first-team action this season, having both been involved during last campaign.
